Summer Activities
1. Nyon (south side of Morzine) - high wire woodland adventure
2. “7 Aventures” – white water rafting, canyoning etc – they are on the roundabout on the main road coming up from Thonon
3. Lake Montriond (north of Morzine) - swimming in lake and lovely walk around it. Great restaurant – la Bout de Lac
4. Ardent/Les Lindarets – quad biking and goat village (you’ll see when you get there).
5. Fantasticable – at Les Lindarets – take the ski chair up towards Chatel from Les Lindarets
6. Luge run – Morzine at the bottom of the Pleney ski run into the town. Also one in Chatel
7. Paragliding – Morzine
8. Downhill mountain biking - most of the chair lifts in the resorts are open for one or two days a week, the lifts are adapted to take bikes up.
9. Walking/hiking - there are guides in flat 22 and at the tourist office in St Jean D’Aulps
10. Via ferrata - fixed piton climbing. An easier route behind the Abbey in St Jean and a more serious one in Avoriaz, Take own equipment or hire from Morzine
11. Water park - Morzine
12. Pont du Diable - Le Jotty - 15 minutes on road to Thonon - walk through gorge under collapsed prehistoric rock bridge
13. Beaches and water activities on Lake Geneva. Visit the pretty, ancient town of Yvoire
